Mohamed Amjahid was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1988 as the son of so-called guest workers. He studied political science in Berlin and Cairo. While still a student, he worked as a journalist for the taz, the Frankfurter Rundschau and Deutschlandfunk, among others. After completing his Master's degree, Amjahid worked as a trainee at the Tagesspiegel in Berlin. He is currently writing several new book projects. Anthropologically and journalistically, he focuses on human rights, equality and upheavals in the USA, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. His book "Der weiße Fleck" was published by Piper Verlag.
