Batbait set the tone. With "Dirty Clothes" the young Zurich band offers ten punk-rock snapshots of the most diverse feelings and moods. Experiences that stick to clothes like smells, like they are lying in a pile at everyone's home and that take us back to memories. On their debut album Batbait give as much space to brooding and melancholy as ecstasy and idealistic love.

In the fall of 2022 Batbait will release their long-awaited debut album "Dirty Clothes". Ten songs, ten snapshots of the most diverse feelings and moods. Energetic, the young female musicians set the tone. The album takes us through the banalities of life, guides us to break out of the confines of our own thoughts and to face greater things. Daredevil and daring, it inspires us to free ourselves from overwhelm and insecurity to make way for clarity and euphoria. But the high of endorphins won't last forever. On "Dirty Clothes" Batbait give just as much space to brooding and melancholy as ecstasy and idealistic love. Already with their releases "Softness" Pt. 1 & 2 earlier in the year the band proved their diversity. Characterized by contrasts and extremes, they nevertheless connect each song through their unique, raw and punky garage rock style. Now, on their first album, ten tracks come together to form a coherent story.

The concert is part of the funding project "c/o pop 2023 musichubgermany" and is supported by the Initiative Musik gemeinnützige Projektgesellschaft GmbH with project funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
