Are we still waiting for the future or are we already running after ourselves? Are we lost in space or in between places?

With their wavy dream pop YUUN from Würzburg ask the complex questions. They passionately experiment with analog synthesizers, chase guitar signals, small children's keyboards, Japanese harps and everything else they can get their hands on through countless small efect pedals or alienate samples beyond recognition.

Somewhere there between analog nostalgia and transhumanist wishful fantasies they deal with where the thin line in the middle lies, where the gray areas have remained and whether we as a society can still stand it at all when the answer sometimes lies straight between yes and no. This is how songs are created somewhere on the border to pop with thoughtful lyrics and a complex overall sound, but never forgetting to be catchy.

In September 2022 the first part of their double EP "I've got my head in the cloud" was released, which will be completed in March 2023 with the second EP "But the server is down". Musically, YUUN move between the lightness of a Mac DeMarco, the melancholy of bands like Beach House or Men I Trust and an obsession with detail and experimentation a la James Blake. Between playful synth melodies and dense drum sound, it's clear that a lot of intuition is always being used to find the space for the next hook. An elaborate light show complements the overall picture live.

However, YUUN are no newcomers on German stages. With their old project ZULU they played dozens of concerts in small clubs and on big festival stages like at Rocken am Brocken, Feel Festival or at C/O Pop and shared the stage with bands like Son Lux, Sizarr or Lola Marsh.
