Henrike Ott
Born in northern Germany in 1982, she first came into contact with hip hop when “Killing me softly” by the Fugees blared through the country's radio loudspeakers in 1996.
A few years later, while Aggro Berlin was causing a stir in Germany, she began her design studies, which ended with a music project as her dissertation.
In 2012, she landed in Berlin and by then her music/hip hop journey had also taken off professionally. She works for Native Instruments, among others, develops the look of Most Wanted: Music and the Listen to Berlin Awards, designs cover artwork for various musicians and bands and illustrates the cover and the cover story of the last printed issue of JUICE. In 2020 she will be part of the illustration team of the blog series 365 Fe*male MCs.
This book is another project close to her heart and certainly not the end of the story.
