It all started "on the pitch" - at a magazine for amateur football in the Ruhr region. This was followed by journalism studies at TU Dortmund University, freelance work at WAZ and a traineeship at Radio Oberhausen. Steffen has been working in the Salon5 youth editorial team since 2021. There he supports young people in raising their voices, being loud and expressing their opinions. Steffen's focus is on sports reporting. Together with the young people, he interviews sports stars, tries out new sports and talks about problems and grievances in sport.
