In many areas, menstruation is still a taboo subject. Menstruation is also not considered at many festivals. Individual initiatives are raising public awareness of this taboo subject. However, only the festival organizers can bring about real change. Why does menstruation so rarely play a role in the planning of sanitary facilities? Is it feasible to provide sanitary products free of charge? Can safer spaces help with the "needs" of women? These are some of the questions to which we would like to dedicate this panel and hope to stimulate reflection.
